Happy New Year!
I’ve got a great feeling about 2019.
I am so excited to finally offer my Marketing Calendar Package to the masses this year!
Many of my consulting clients ask for guidance in marketing their business, especially with the when and how often.
I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on my experience in advertising to create a marketing calendar for commercial photographers, illustrators, and other creatives promoting themselves to ad agencies and media editors. I’ve organized print, IRL, social media, and email tasks to match the best times of year and frequency to agency calendars. For the first time, I am now making this full marketing strategy available to everyone, not only to my consulting clients.
The Marketing Calendar Package includes a 12 month calendar (Jan 2019-Dec 2019) pdf of organized marketing tasks, and each month I will send email reminders full of additional guidance and marketing strategy advice. PLUS, anyone who purchases the package will have access to email me for additional marketing support. The best part, it’s ONLY $20.19!!
If you purchase through PayPal, your monthly emails will be sent to the email account corresponding to your payment account. If you would prefer to be subscribed at a different email address, just let me know.
If you have any questions about the package before you buy, feel free to email me.
If you are interested in a custom marketing guide specific to your business and target market, I’d love to help you with this as well. Jump on my calendar for a free consultation call. Let’s see if we are a good fit. I look forward to helping you figure out the best path to success in 2019.
Is this package appropriate for “retail” photographers (Family photos, weddings, etc.)? No, this package is not designed for retail photographers, but if you would like to work on a marketing plan specific to your business, please reach out!
How can I edit the calendar?
You can edit the PDF in Acrobat or Photoshop. If you prefer a spreadsheet file, shoot me an email and I will send it as a XLSX. I recommend using the calendar as a planning sheet, and then blocking time for specific tasks in your usual email calendar program.
What do you mean by IRL? IRL/In Real Life refers to any in-person meetings. This could be a portfolio showing, coffee with a client or acquaintance, a business conference, photo festival, networking event, etc.
Why are portfolio reviews only starting in October? This is just a suggestion for artists who want to travel outside of their city to show their work, based on a decent time of year to travel (in the U.S.) and based on agency calendars (how busy they are, when it’s good to see them) as well as having just followed a late summer promo drop, if you are following all of the marketing tasks in order. I strongly recommend that photographers try to get portfolio reviews all year long, especially in the cities that they live in or near.
What are your thoughts on portfolio reviews like Blvd Artists, Found, etc, how does this play into the schedule? Hosted portfolio review schedules are determined by the company scheduling them. If you can afford to/make time to, I encourage you to do as many as you can, at any time of year. If you are already traveling for reviews at different times of the year, you can scratch October travel from your calendar, October is only a suggestion.
Please send me your questions as they come up, I am happy to answer them.
P.S. I’m rooting for you!
