About Me

I believe that creatives should work with a coach who has experience in the areas that they are hoping to succeed.

I have over 20 years of experience working as a professional photographer, photography agent, advertising agency art buyer (T3, Dell), TV network (MTV, VH1) and magazine (Elle Décor) photo editor.

I’ve hired photographers to shoot campaigns for companies like UPS, Microsoft, and Capital One. I’ve represented and created winning bids for photographers with brands like Mary Kay, James Avery, Essence Media and Kendra Scott.

I’ve hired and managed teams of photographers to cover events like the MTV Video Music Awards, Movie Awards, and the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

I’ve worked as an art buyer and digital asset manager for companies like Coca-Cola, 7 Eleven, UPS and Chase Bank.

I've worked with many types of creatives: fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, portrait, industrial, documentary, event, product, still life, fine art, adventure and travel photographers, hair & makeup artists, fashion stylists, illustrators, photo reps, and even acupuncturists.

I’ve personally photographed album covers, editorial content and live events with celebrities such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, U2 and hundreds more.

What I've learned from working with creatives over the past two decades, is that confidence and mindset are at the core of success. This is why I have expanded my consulting to offer personal coaching to all creatives using positive psychology modalities.

I am certified in Hypnosis by the IACT and GS Hypnosis.

I am credentialed in Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

There is currently no legal certification nor licensing board for coaching or Tapping, however, I am a certified in coaching through The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology and in Tapping by The Priority Academy and the Gala Darling Method.

I am not a licensed physician, psychologist, nor therapist.

How We Work

I understand the challenges you are facing in editing your work, pitching yourself, understanding an ever-changing market, keeping up with social media, trying to price your services, and in making time to run your business. (And in a pandemic, no less!)

My goal is to help you figure out how to reach your goals and your potential clients in a way that feels comfortable and authentic to who you are, with the time and resources that you have.

When working with me, I want you to leave feeling confident, supported, understood and on your way to making more money shooting projects that you feel truly passionate about.

I specialize in helping my clients understand their target market and position themselves to appeal to those clients. I help photographers and reps strengthen their websites and social media from the perspective of a potential art buyer or creative director. Once my clients understand exactly who they are targeting with a refined body of work, I then give them a marketing roadmap that is easy to follow and maintain, and the personal support to take more risks and be seen in their business.

My special sauce: I am actively networking with editors, reps and art buyers not only to keep up with industry changes, but searching for opportunities to refer my clients for jobs. Creative producers follow me to see who I am working with and to find new talent.

I am passionate about equity and diversity. If you feel like you need sliding scale pricing, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
