Top website and SEO tips for photographers with Jessica Shepard

For my April photography marketing strategy guide I interviewed website designer, builder and SEO expert, Jessica Shepard.

In this interview, Jessica gives us her top tips for building photography websites, advice on how to make your page titles and descriptions search engine friendly, information on how often to update your content, and how to implement calls to action.

We also talk about the top 3 mistakes that photographers are making on their websites.

1. The website is only a portfolio, not a complete website with marketing tools and contact information.

2. Design and navigation is outdated and does not support mobile browsers.

3. The website does not clearly state where the photographer is located.
