In 2016, I took a leap of faith and left my toxic job in the advertising industry...
I had hit the ceiling for art buyer opportunities within my company and knew it was time to dedicate my time and experience to elevating and supporting underrepresented creatives. So, I quit my corporate job and started my own photo agency.
While building my agency, I began working as a commercial photography consultant to bring in extra income. To my surprise, I started earning $60K+ a year by working part-time as a consultant, without any advertising at all! I fell in love with consulting, and soon, the income from consulting exceeded my agency revenue. After five rewarding years, I decided to close my agency and become a full-time consultant.
